COAST follows two people from vastly differing socioeconomic backgrounds, in the city of Mumbai. Their divergent storylines converge at the place in Mumbai that all classes share in equal measure, the Arabian Sea that runs along the length of the city.

About
Samarth is a music composer and producer from Mumbai. He is currently working on a documentary and a series of comedic brand films.
His most recent work includes two documentaries - Water Mafia and Going Poly, which he delivered for Vice India, and a series of pieces for brand films for Deepika Padukone's cosmetics line, 82°E.
He started out playing music very young. Over the last 7 years, he has developed an in depth knowledge of music composition techniques that plays out well through his production capabilities. He has studied music from international faculty at The Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music and has a keen grasp on harmony and rhythm. During his 3 year employment as a sound engineer at the well renowned Island City Studios in Mumbai, he has overseen major producers and artists like Salvage Audio Collective, Andrew McKay, Naren & Benedict, The Jamroom Project, Karan Kanchan, Amit Trivedi, Sandunes, Karsh Kale, Maati Bani, Sachin Jigar and several others. In this way, he has developed broad sensibilities across several genres, types of media and aesthetics.
After moving on from Island City Studios to pursue music composition, he has worked as an additional composer, writing and delivering cues included in several long format OTT shows including My Daughter Joined A Cult (Discovery), Ranveer vs Wild (Netflix), Modern Love (Amazon Prime), Married Woman (Zee 5), Tooth Pari (Netflix) to name just a few. He has also delivered music for a series of animated shorts as installations at The Mahindra Museum in Mumbai, along with a walkthrough piece of music that you can hear as you browse the museum.
Hobbyistically, he writes music and songs that he releases under the monicker "Mosambee" and has collaborated with several artist through this channel. He is also a keen pianist and guitarist.
He sees himself as a versatile artist and is always keen to explore and deliver a new sound. His palette is broad- including capabilities in western classical and orchestral scoring, pop production and writing, synthesis and sonic arts, piano composition, guitar fundamentals, and also broad ethnic folk tastes. He also likes to bring in and select the necessary talent from the roster he has developed over the years, so as to deliver the best sound and instrumentation he envisions.
